Dr Marisa Lewis

Consultant Counselling Psychologist & Clinical Director
Dr Marisa Lewis is a Chartered and Registered Counselling Psychologist. Having spent over 14 years working in the NHS, she has worked in a range of services including physical health, mental health, neurodevelopmental and intellectual disabilities in the community with individuals presenting with a range of difficulties.
As a Counselling Psychologist Dr Marisa Lewis, provides a safe and confidential space to explore your difficulties. Her work is underpinned by the humanistic philosophy; her approaches include cognitive behaviour therapy (CBT), acceptance commitment therapy (ACT) and eye movement desensitisation reprocessing (EMDR) therapy.

Thomas Hughes

Practice Manager
Tom is an experienced Practice Manager with a strong background in non-clinical health services management. He has led business operations within private sector psychological services, overseeing practice management functions across a diverse range of specialties including mental health and wellbeing, acquired brain injury assessment and treatment, psychological trauma, neuropsychological rehabilitation, neurodevelopmental disorders, and long-term health conditions.
Tom holds qualifications in Teaching, Primary Care & Health Management, including a Postgraduate Diploma in Health and Social Care Management.
With extensive experience in the sector, Tom oversees the day-to-day business operations, ensuring effective service delivery.
Courtney Lewis

Courtney provides essential administrative and secretarial support, helping keep the team's day-to-day operations running smoothly. She manages records, coordinates appointments, and handles referrals and correspondence with accuracy and efficiency.
She is also committed to maintaining clear, professional communication between clients and colleagues. Organised, reliable, and approachable, Courtney plays an important role in ensuring a positive and seamless experience for everyone involved.

Edward Evans

Occupational Therapist
An Occupational Therapist and Specialist Neurodevelopmental Practitioner, Edward Evans has worked within specialist autism and neurodevelopmental services in NHS and private healthcare since 2012, devising and implementing Occupational Therapy services and pathways for assessment and treatment. He has been administering neurodevelopmental diagnostic assessment since 2016 and is accredited in the administration of ADOS, ADI-R, DISCO and ACE.

Anna Halford

Speech and Language Therapist
Anna is a Highly Specialist Speech and Language Therapist specialising in autism and neurodiversity. Since graduating in 2013 from the University of Sydney with a Master's in Speech Language Pathology (Distinction), she has worked across NHS and private settings, supporting individuals from early childhood to adulthood in clinics, schools and specialist provisions.
Since 2020 Anna has specialised in diagnostic assessment, with advanced training in autism, ADHD and diagnostic processes. Bringing both professional and personal experience of neurodiversity to her work, Anna is passionate about helping clients better understand themselves and access the support they need.

Claire Huxford

Claire Huxford is a Highly Specialist Speech and Language Therapist. She qualified in 2005 and has many years' experience working with neurodivergent individuals, both within the NHS as well as in private organisations. Claire is trained to administer and interpret the findings of the Autism Diagnostic Observation Schedule (ADOS-2), the Autism Diagnostic Interview – Revised (ADI-R), Autism Clinical Interview for Adults (ACIA) and the ADHD Child Evaluation for adults (ACE+). She has worked in neurodevelopmental assessment and diagnostic services for 15 years, continually developing and expanding her knowledge and skills and keeping up-to-date with research and advancements.

Emily Kent

Emily is a qualified and experienced Speech and Language Therapist. Emily is trained in the use of the ADOS 2, ADI-R and other developmental interview tools. Emily has extensive experience in working with children and young people as well as adults.

Joshua Lewis

Assistant Psychologist
Joshua is an aspiring psychologist with over four years of experience supporting individuals across a range of mental health settings. He has worked with multidisciplinary teams and supported clients both in-person and remotely, with experience across conditions including depression, psychosis, ADHD, autism, and addiction.
He has developed skills in client screening, safeguarding, referral processes, and administering psychometric assessments. Friendly and approachable, Joshua is a strong listener with a genuine passion for helping others and progressing in the field of psychology.

Rebecca Osborn

Rebecca is a fully qualified MRCSLT and HCPC registered Speech and Language Therapist with 19 years postgraduate clinical experience working After leaving the NHS in 2011 she set up in independent practice supporting autistic children and adolescents with communication difficulties within educational settings, as well as providing assessment and report services for educational tribunal.
Since 2019 she has been predominantly working within a diagnostic field and can offer autism assessments for children and adults.

Dr Lee Rusowicz

Clinical Psychologist
Dr Rusowicz is an HCPC registered Clinical Psychologist with a background in neuropsychology, physical health conditions, and neurodevelopmental conditions. He has worked across a range of NHS specialist services, including cancer and palliative care psychology, prosthetics and amputee rehabilitation, and community brain injury rehabilitation.
He has experience conducting autism and ADHD assessments with adults, alongside wider work in psychological adjustment to life-changing events and rehabilitation. In his therapeutic work, he is attentive to how gendered experiences – particularly those relating to masculine emotional expressions, identity, and ways of coping – can shape the way difficulties are explored, understood, and accommodated within traditional psychological interventions.
Drawing on Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Metacognitive Therapy (MCT), and cognitive-behavioural principles, Dr Rusowicz supports clients to make sense of their difficulties and move towards lives that feel meaningful and aligned with their values.
He holds a BSc in Applied Psychology, an MSc in Clinical Neuropsychology, and completed his Doctorate in Clinical Psychology in 2024.

Dr Lelanie Smook

Consultant Psychologist
Dr Lelanie Smook is a HCPC & UKCP registered Chartered Consultant Psychologist with extensive experience across Clinical Health Psychology and long-term physical health conditions. She specialises in supporting adults living with obesity, chronic pain, fatigue related conditions, neurological conditions, and Long Covid, drawing on a wide range of evidence based therapeutic approaches including CBT, ACT, EMDR, CFT, Mindfulness and Motivational Interviewing.
Most recently, Dr Smook worked as Consultant Practitioner Psychologist with the Powys Living Well Service at Bronllys Hospital, providing individual and group interventions, specialist weight management input, and bariatric surgery readiness assessments. She has a strong background in MDT working, service development, governance, and the delivery of psychological training across NHS teams.
Dr Smook has held senior roles across several NHS trusts, including posts in chronic pain, stroke, Long Covid, and community health psychology. She is also highly experienced in clinical supervision for psychologists and trainees. Her professional development includes advanced leadership training, EMDR (Parts 1–4), Mindfulness based approaches, and assessment and diagnosis of Adult ADHD.

Ellen Twist

Ellen is a UKCP registered Family and Systemic Psychotherapist working with individuals, couples, parents and families. With over 7 years' experience working in the NHS and a further 11 years' experience working in health and social care settings, she has worked within a range of services including autism and learning disabilities, mental health, social care, youth justice and educational settings.
Ellen is a highly skilled, compassionate and creative therapist, who specialises in working with individuals, parents and families in the context of mental health, neurodevelopmental difficulties and relational trauma. She offers a range of approaches and therapies such as Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing (EMDR), Advanced Integrative Therapy (AIT), Trauma Resolution Energy Therapy (TRET), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), Non-Violent Resistance (NVR) and Eco-psychotherapy, all of which can be integrated into your therapy and tailored to the needs of you and/or your family as required.
